Red Apple May Boost Your Immunity

An apple keeps a doctor away may have some truth.

A report on health website WebMD said a natural antioxidant called quercetin found in red apples give an immunity boost.

Researchers found that a group of athletes taking quercetin supplement maintained better mental alertness and reaction time over another group who was given placebo.

Red apples are available all year round. So do take advantage of eating the fruit at least once a day and you may actually save lots on medical bills.
